ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT IV
District Office Hanna
Salary: $45,555 to $56,320 Per Annum
Hanna – The Special Areas Board requires a temporary full-time employee, in the Hanna District Office. Reporting to the District Office Manager, the successful applicant is responsible for providing customer service to ratepayers, as well as assisting with the operations of the District Office. The successful candidate needs to enjoy a busy, dynamic, and varied work environment and be comfortable with managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role encompasses working with varied stakeholders, from ratepayers to professionals. Being approachable and friendly, while maintaining a professional environment is key.
Key duties include:
• Administrative support to the Special Area No. 2 Administrator, Office Manager and Agricultural Fieldman
• Day to day activities include preparation of reports, letters and memos, invoicing, collection of arrears, backup to reception
• Administer applications relating to leases, exchange of land, permits, community pastures, road construction, and hamlets
Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Secretarial/Administration education desirable
• Related office experience required
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, highly developed oral and written skills and computer competence are essential
• Bondable position and we require a criminal record check
• Equivalencies will be considered
